Maine's Office of Tourism has begun a new promotion this year, called Shop, DIne & Stay. The theme is to have Maine tourism businesses create packages that include all three elements, during the November-December season.
With Freeport being such a wonderful shopping destination, Freeport's lodging properties have jumped eagerly aboard the "Shop, Dine & Stay" train! Several are offering Shop, Dine & Stay packages, as varied as the properites, themselves, so there there is something for every interest and every budget!
Brewster House Bed & Breakfast has a Shop, Dine & Stay package that includes two nights lodging, a $100 gift certificate at L.L. Bean, and a $50 gift certificate at Azure Cafe, and all taxes included. A third night may be added for $100.
The package from White Cedar Inn B&B includes a two night stay, $50 prepaid shopping card, $50 restaurant card, all taxes, and a gift wrapping party. The package from the James Place Inn includes a three night stay, $100 at L.L. Bean and $50 at Azure Cafe.
