Kendall Tavern Inn Wedding Events

    

    This is new, we have not marketed this great idea before though people have asked now we have implemented the request. As you can see, weddings have been performed here within the past year and in each case to the bride’s great pleasure. We stay out of the way and provide a pleasant surrounding for the happy occasion.
  • Weddings are best performed between 1PM and 3PM, unless you have the whole inn reserved (so there is no one to work around).
  • The most available time of year is between November and June.
  • We want to make this as simple as we can...
  • The simplest wedding plan is just to reserve the common area (either parlor or dining room as the picture shows) or outside on the front lawn for a nonimal fee...

You can have up to 15 guests stay here at the

Kendall with you. We have 7 guest rooms, one room of which is yours. Additional guests can stay at nearby B&Bs' or hotels with in walking distance.

  • Arrangements to decorate are for you to decide.. 
  • The ceremony depends on your tastes. 
  • A "minimum" of a one night stay for the bridal party
  • Play your own CD music or there is piano in the library room
The following suggested amenities can be arranged...
  • Flowers  can be provided by  "Wild Flowers"
  • Rehearsal or wedding reception location suggestions
  • Clergy or notary republic (male or female)
  • Photographer
Amenities to pamper you...
  • A Gourmet dinner at the Harraseekett Maine Dining Room
  •  A body messages at Lucida's or The Freeport Day Spa etc 
 
     Depending on the time each season offers many different pleasurable images. Should it rain there is always the "barn" as a back up plan and some have even asked to be married in there from the start, great feeling.
So if you desire a small simple picturesque village setting than the Kendall Tavern Inn is the spot for you.
These rates apply for the different area:
  • Dinning Room only $150 (3 hours afternoons)
  • Patio area $150 (afternoon)
  • Barn area $250
* If the whole inn is used before or after the event save 10% on these rates
*There is a  50% deposit for events which is non refundable within two months of the event. For your protection and ours, a form is signed detailing the arrangements.

Thank you for asking about this optional use for the inn. Both inside and out on the front lawn make for a great location to have the vows.  It has brought pleasure to some already.
