Just steps outside the door you will find LL Bean and numerous brand name outlets as well as local specialty shops. No fewer than ten restaurants are a short walk away.
A few miles from here are 5 great natural areas to ease the senses. Walk, ski or snowshoe at Wolfe's Neck Park, WInslow Park, Bradbury Mountain or Pinelands. Great spots for birding are the previously named parks and the Mast Landing Audubon Sanctuary.
Heading south to Portland, a 20 minute drive, allows you to discover the many lighthouses both on shore and off. Take the Casco Bay mail boat for a 3 hour cruise around Casco Bay.
