Last weekend's Third Annual Flavors of Freeport was, by all accounts, the best one yet!

The 2010 edition will be the third annual Flavors of Freeport festival. Based on the resounding success of the 2009 version, this is a festival not to be missed!

Maine's Office of Tourism has begun a new promotion this year, called Shop, DIne & Stay. The theme is to have Maine tourism businesses create packages that include all three elements, during the November-December season.

Freeport has been changing. That's putting it mildly! 
 

Each year Maine Tourism and the Maine Office of Tourism present The Governor's Conference on Tourism. It is a day of presentations by industry professionals to speak on topics of interest to those in the industry - some on current affairs, some on practical ideas to help market or improve the service we provide, etc. There are also vendors displaying everything from advertising opportunities to guest room amenities.

Join us for Flavors of Freeport - three days of music, entertainment, and lots of good things to eat!
The flavors will include:

From shopping at any of over a hundred stores, to hiking in the woods or along the coast, viewing lighthouses, to watching the lobstermen with their day's catch, there is plenty to see and do in and around Freeport.
